About your teacher
Bio
Ramashna Naidoo is a 500hr Advanced Yoga Teacher whose path here was anything but a straight line. She spent thirteen wonderful years in the aviation industry, working as a flight attendant, but having been diagnosed with ovarian cancer in her mid-twenties, followed by surgically induced menopause at the age of 30, the physical and mental demands of her career, together with the health challenges she endured, resulted in an untimely exit from the job she so loved. She tried her hand at sales for a few years, but never quite found it hers.
Looking for something more balanced and centered, she turned to yoga, beginning her teaching journey at 46. It became her sanctuary — a place to slow down and find peace amid the chaos — and, in time, genuinely therapeutic, helping ease her own health challenges and building her strength and resilience, both mentally and physically.
In the six years since, she's taught in community centers, women's shelters, old age homes, mental health facilities, rehab centers and fitness clubs. She now lives in the Drakensberg, South Africa, where she runs yoga retreats and teaches online.
She's still studying, still deepening her understanding of yoga's many dimensions — and says the journey has changed her life, letting her help others find their own way to inner peace.
Teaching happens live, online, one-on-one, so there's room to actually watch how you move and adjust in real time — something a pre-recorded class can never offer.

Reviews
"Working together for the past two years has completely transformed my physical well-being. Every session is thoughtfully targeted to my specific needs and recovery goals, which was essential following a shoulder injury. Thanks to this individualized approach, the mobility in my injured shoulder has increased dramatically. I couldn't ask for a more attentive, skilled, and encouraging instructor."

"I highly recommend Ramy as a wonderful yoga instructor — patient, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in helping you move and feel better. I was completely new to yoga when I started with her, and now I practise regularly. Her focus on functional movement have made a real difference to me, particularly with pain-related issues. She is very flexible in her approach and adapts sessions to what you need on the day."
